Asim Khan has spent over 35 years working at every level of building envelope design, fabrication, and investigation. His career began at Walters & Wolf in the San Francisco Bay Area, one of the region's leading glazing contractors, where he developed glazing shop drawings for building envelope systems.
He then joined Architectural Wall Services in Oxnard, CA — a building envelope consulting firm — where he spent nearly a decade supporting forensic investigations, water testing, and construction defect analysis for both plaintiff and defense litigation teams. This is where he developed his foundation in AAMA field water testing, CAD documentation, and litigation support.
Following a project management role at AA International — where he oversaw fabrication drawings for the San Rafael–Richmond Bridge retrofit — Asim Khan founded BIM Experts Inc., initially offering shop drawing services and gradually expanding into full forensic documentation, technical visualization, and litigation graphics.
Over the past two decades, Asim Khan has supported hundreds of forensic and litigation cases — working alongside leading consulting firms on both plaintiff and defense sides. His work includes AAMA water test documentation, failure analysis graphics, 3D animations shown in mediation and trial, repair scope matrices, and expert-quality presentation packages.
